Magnum Opuses. Chef-d’œuvres. Outstanding pieces of work. Pieces of the Master.
Another Masterpiece session took place at Evangel Temple this weekend past. As always, it was thoroughly enjoyable, edifying and uplifting. Even made a couple of new friends.
Brenda Kunneman, who spoke, was awesome. Hailing from Nebraska, this pastor is a pleasure to listen to; she’s inspiring, convincing, dynamic, and a dozen other positive adjectives rolled into one small powerhouse.
Speaking in tongues is fascinating, and there was much of it going on last Saturday. Every woman at ET was doing it, save for little ol’ me. It doesn’t come naturally, as I’d assumed, but through the grace of God—once you request the gift. Maybe I’m not ready yet. Or maybe I’m too fixed on how staid I am (and have always been). It’s hard to break a decades-old mold, but certainly doable. And I aim to do . . . in due course.
