How grand it would be to provide unconditional love—to all living things. It’s not easy to accomplish, but far from impossible. It’s all about changing the mindset, and opening the heart.
Recognize the good in everyone. Realize no one is perfect. Overlook people’s frailties and selfish/self-centered deeds. Yes, there are folks who do us wrong. Some don’t do it intentionally; some do.
If it’s done, it’s done. Why fret? Why agonize? The only thing irritation or annoyance will accomplish is prolonged illness or festering anger. Things said in heat or reprisal are usually regretted, and can seldom be withdrawn. Most importantly perhaps is the waste of precious time. If we could have back all the hours, days and weeks we spend thinking ill thoughts, gossiping and criticizing, we’d likely have another 10 years to tack onto our lives.
How about going with the flow and not let anything or anyone upset or stress us? How about being less judgmental and critical? It’s doable, with diligence and conviction. Just believe.
