. . . one of those days, weeks, or even months? Where everything seems to stagnate and you can’t see for looking or achieve for trying? Your computer doesn’t want to cooperate, your bank account is in the negative zone, and your boss yells at you for no justifiable reason other than he’s stressed and for some reason he can’t seem to take it out on the person(s) who truly deserve it?
Hitting one of those stretches is like swimming in an ocean. You go for a dip in gorgeous cyan-blue water and all seems fine—until a strong current drags you backwards and forwards. There’s motion, but you’re not moving too far or too quickly. Enough is enough and you reach a point where you either press and pull back, or depart.
Whether you believe karma is being unkind, terrible luck is running riot, the Dark Side is having sinister fun, or a bad spell is going berserk, move onward. If you’re stuck, un-stick yourself.
Believe in yourself, your spirit or God. Banish negative or evil thoughts. Follow The Secret—or not—but there’s something in Rhonda Byrne’s words: “You are the center of divine operation in your life, and your partner is the Universe. No one can get in the way of your creation.” Not even one of “those” days or weeks.
Keep the faith, my friends, no matter how trying it proves. It does get better. Our world is what we make it, so let’s make it the best it can be. Let’s see rainbows instead of drab gray winters, puppies and kittens instead of disgruntled workers and angry protesters, Godiva truffles and champagne instead of hot dogs and soda (although hot dogs with Dijon mustard and grape soda are pretty damn tasty). Whatever you need to make your world a better place: envision it, manifest it, and attract it. Make it reality.
Take charge. It can happen. And will.
