As I mature, I grow wiser (hopefully). I recognize the importance of being with God and accepting Jesus as Savior. There's a long path to follow and much to learn, but it’s achievable.
It's not easy being a committed Christian. It’s human nature to want to whine, gossip, criticize, be self-focused, swear or curse. Being faultless requires a lot of effort. Fortunately God loves us and easily forgives, so if we have a screw-up day, we can always set it straight.
I know that nothing is truly impossible and I can ask for anything. I also know that I must give as readily as I take—perhaps more so.
God has a plan for me, as He does for everyone. What father doesn't want the best for a child?
. . . And what child doesn't want to make his or her Fathe proud?
